Oda will give you a really solid mid game because of the clan bonus and nor a bad choice for legendary because pretty much the only way to counter ai spam other than agents is through aghigaru spam, The Otomo clan is definitely the strongest, Ikko ikki is the worse (weakest) and people should not buy it. Español - Latinoamérica (Spanish - Latin America). 1.1 Starting position. Shingen and Kenshin are the best simply because they start the youngest. The game rates the Oda's Initial Challenge as hard because they do start out in a two front war against three other clans. Shogun 2: Total War. I see you are more powerful that a wikipedia. I beat two stacks of decent infantry with a handful of guys, though I did notice that the game gets really buggy when such a big battle happened, my units wouldn't move half the time and routing enemy units would get frozen in place. try to save some replays of your battles and watch it over and look for mistakes, so you can learn from them. That was your fault then, considering rifles have been in the game prior to the Otomo. Tsu second province, the one you must conquer first have a silver mine and fertile farms, which is super rare for a province to have a mine and fertile farms. Lemonade

Shogun 2: Total War. lol, I'd take a bow over one of those things any day. No big differences is brought to the game withe these DLC's. I totally agree with Ieevan. You basically just got the otomo clan for the portuguese units. I'd say Takeda Shingen is the best overall: has some nice traits, in particular the "scare enemies" trait, which is very powerful in a game where winning battles effectively comes down to getting morale collapse. Still making bank as Obama but I'm still fairly early on and Edo have just flipped to Imperial after taking over all of middle Japan, and Jozai despite being Shogunate have declared war on me after taking over most of northern/eastern Japan. I think position matters a bit more than units or anything, Shimazu usually and in FOTS it's Saga or Sasuma for me.

can anybody suggest the best clan to win the solo campaign? wiht Tsu i would tell you to turtle and build tall very early so to speak, geta economy going with whatever you can manage, if you can also manage a additonal city or two that would help to, go for high farms quickly, ignore your military arts at the beginning.

Oda is easily the best cuz of their op and yet cheap ashigaru can put up a good fight against samurai armies. ( they are not actually rifles) They crush morale and also unlike most bow units they easily cut through samurai units. An easiesr clan is the Chosokabe. just look at the Tokugawa Sh*t start point, you are a vassal and can be easily overrun by the Oda or your controling clan but they are one of the best clans to play late in the game as they are close to most of the resources, Kyoto isnt to far away and you can bottleneck the advancing armys in south shinto and the tokugawa or oda capital.

Thanks all of you guys i consider all of this in my next campagin!!
